CCB (Copper Coated Beads) are made by coating an acrylic bead with a copper bases substance. Although the name remains, the same item is now silver, gold, or nickel plated. After plating the item is generally antiqued to increase the contrast of the design. THe plating is quite good and seems to wear well.
