Oxidising or antiquing silver

After the silver clay piece is sulphurized, it can be polished until the metallic luster appears. *Wash the piece with neutral detergent and remove any grease before you soak it in the sulphurizing solution.

Add 2-3 drops of sulphurizing solution to a cup of warm water. Stir well.		Soak the piece in the cup and wait for about 1 minute. When the entire piece had turned envenly blue black, remove from cup and rinse the piece in water.
Polish the raised parts with a polishing cloth containing a small amount of silver polish until the metallic luster appears.		Complete.
