After firing the surface of the art clay silver piece, it turns into crystalline whitish structure due to crystallized silver. By polishing the piece, metallic luster of pure silver can be created. For polishing you can use a stainless steel brush, burnisher or sandpaper. Standard mechanical means of polishing used by goldsmiths are also suitable.

Brush the piece with a stainless steel brush to reveal the silver surface.		Polish the entire piece with sandpaper.
Polish the piece with a polishing cloth containing a little amount of silver polish. Wipe the entire piece well with a dry cloth.		Complete.
